Cave Beach – Sun, Surf and Dolphins!

A spectacular weekend of sunny days and light winds so far. Water is a very comfortable 21 deg. and very clean. I paddled out at Cave Beach this morning and with a light nor-easter blowing the small waves were nicely offshore. A fun surf. The highlight was a pod of dolphins that surfed the breaking waves through surfers/swimmers. The clear conditions allowed an action close up as they darted in and out of the waves within a few metres of those fortunate enough to be in the water.

Agile fast and fleeting
Dolphins mock me
